MEET CHARLIE

Events by Charlie was created by Charlie out of a love for events, design, and planning perfect parties. In her early 20’s Charlie set up her own children’s party business in Sussex and London. Having taught herself magic, how to spin plates, and make model balloons, her party business laid the foundations for a 30 year career in events. Both at work and at home, Charlie is the master of hosting. Married to an army officer she hosted countless events, dinners, balls, and fundraisers, even having the pleasure of hosting King Charles III and Queen Camilla (Prince and Duchess then!) on two occasions at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Having gained a distinction in her Masters (equiv) for Event Management from the CIM, Charlie has gone on to manage everything from glamorous charity gala dinners, and high-stakes corporate events, to unforgettable parties and weddings. She has a flair for creativity, an eye for detail, and is a reliable, discreet and professional event planner who thinks of the little things, bringing your ideas to life.  No event is too big or too small, no destination management brief is too complex, and no project too tricky so do let’s chat and let Events by Charlie leave you with a fun event to remember… She’ll be spinning plates, sprinkling magic, and might even make you a balloon dog!
